BIO
Andreas Warren Matti was born and
raised in Switzerland with frequent
time spent in the Pacific Northwest of
the USA and Canada. He started
taking his first photos at the age of 5+.
As a child he was always creating,
painting, drawing, doing computer
graphics or cutting decoupage. He
became a licensed draftsperson and
while working in this field did many
experimental and multimedia works
and paintings to satisfy his creative
need in his atelier.
WORK
His intensive and serious
photographic interest began at the age
of 16. His pictures have moved from
his documentational impressions of
nature and itʼs elements, over
constructive studio photography, to art
and fashion photography. His recent
work reflexes images of great
perfection and clarity, along with
detailed conceptual background.

He is influenced by, contemporary
artists Tim Walker and Andreas
Gursky, among others. In his work he
aims to create surreal or captivating
images, creating new worlds with his
fantasy and his personal impressions
from our daily world.
He is living and working in
Zürich.
