This is a project I did as I was spending a couple of days in Paris. I love Paris and adore the city very much. Shortly before going to Paris, I began documentating my surroundings (especially, long nights out in Gstaad) with a 35mm compact camera. This concluded to the question, what pictures would a tourist make and how does a tourist take his pictures? As I've already been to the city of love, I decided to do a project on this subject and started taking pictures of things I probably wouldn't have. As it seems difficult to simulat a tourist taking pictures and design the image to much, I did just this. But in a way I'd normally not and so I started cutting people into my images or having people (other tourist) walking into my images, as I'd unexpedtly not indended this. So I basically tried to take "bad" pictures... but as I'd look at I'm not so sure, how "bad" they are. It's hard to intenionally take pictures in a way you don't and so, everything is yet a part of how you see it.
The pink tan mostlikely occured during film processing and is due to the film beeing 7 years off date.
